From what started as a hobby in lockdown 2020, Shagadelic Rugs has blossomed into a store selling 70’s inspired shag-pile rugs, wall hangings and other groovy home accessories.
Paying homage to the eclectic and vibrant colour palettes of 70s homeware and vintage rya rugs, all pieces are designed with care and handmade to order by Charlie Jackson, a Graphic Designer and tufting artist currently based in South West London. These techniques range from latch hooking by hand to using a cut-pile tufting gun.
Charlie prides herself on supporting other independent businesses in the UK, from the tufting fabric in Oldham to the yarns sourced in Shipley, West Yorkshire.
Whether a fan of all things vintage, or looking for a way to inject a 70s retro personality into your home, Shagadelic Rugs has the perfect bespoke items to elevate a room.
